By taking the mug out of the mug press and putting it into the fuser to finish curing, the operator can do many more mugs per hour. The curing also sharpens colors and makes them more glossy and smooth.
Because this is an element heater, it is also much more powerful and efficient than any quartz bulb design can be.

| The HIX MG-500 is a fuser heater that is produced specifically for those who do mugs with transfers from color laser copiers. Copier toners do not adhere to mugs very well in the standard 3-4 minutes in a mug press. The toners need to be cured an additional 2 - 2.5 minutes. Use the glazer for the additional time and free up you mug press for the next job. A glazer is not needed, when imprinting with inkjet sublimation. |
