Interior signage is big business, both on the front end, as a total order, and on the back end, as you do "fill-ins". The real "mouth waterer" is when a new office sets up and you can offer matching wall, door and desk signs. The deep black of laser sublimation produces beautiful interior signs (even better than the pictures). It is not suited for exterior use. At present, neither the coating nor the color on the metal is sufficiently UV stable. Inside, it lasts for years. The gold and bronze plates are in JRS architectural sign holders. There are dozens and dozens of styles, types and colors. The plates are cut from standard 12"x 24" metal sheets and the radius corners made with readily available "corner rounders". The silver sign is not actually in a holder. It is taped to a larger glossy black metal plate, to dress it up. The sign could be mounted with tape, small holes drilled for screws or a small strip of magnetic tape put on the back, for mounting on metal cabinets or doors. Total costs for the 2"x 10" silver sign is about $0.25. |
